I am a Ph.D. student in Retail and Consumer Science at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I hold a Master of Science in Consumer and Design Sciences from Auburn University and a Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering from Bangladesh University of Textiles (BUTEX) I have two years of industry experience as a Sustainable Textile Production auditor (STeP by OEKO-TEX®) at Hohenstein Bangladesh.

My research focuses on understanding how consumers think and behave regarding sustainable choices, while also leveraging business analytics to enhance retail strategies.

Recent Updates:

  • Started Ph.D. in Retail and Consumer Science at the University of Tennessee in Fall 2025.
  • Started working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Retail, Hospitality and Tourism Management department at the University of Tennessee.
  • Graduated with a Master of Science in Consumer and Design Sciences from Auburn University (August 2025).
  • Defended master's thesis titled "Investigating Consumers’ Perceptions of Recycled Jeans through a Stimulus-Organism-Response Approach" (July 2025)
  • Poster accepted at ITAA 2025 Annual Conference, St. Louis, Missouri, USA.
  • Presented our research titled "From waste to wear: Perceived risks associated with recycled post-consumer textile waste (PCTW) denim products” at International Textile and Apparel Association (ITAA) conference 2024.
  • Awarded Kitty Dickerson Fellowship for Professional Promise: Masters Student 2024 by International Textile and Apparel Association (ITAA).
  • Started studying Business Analytics at Harbert College of Business, Auburn University.
  • Poster accepted at ITAA 2024 Annual Conference, Long Beach California, USA.
  • Started MS in Consumer and Design Sciences at Auburn University in Fall 2023.
  • Started working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Consumer and Design Science department at Auburn University.
